The Role

Purpose of Job: Working in a small team the role will include leading the day-to-day operations within a busy Despatch area to ensure the accurate picking and packing of all finished goods for on time in full and right first-time Dispatch’s to Train and develop team members and promote a safe working environment. Duties will include the following:

  • Accurate labelling of all goods to be shipped
  • Heavy manual handling activities
  • Accurate and safe delivery and collection of all goods between all business units.
  • Safe operation of forklift truck for loading/unloading and put away of palletised goods
  • Carry out duties compatible with this job and the employee's individual skills as required by management
  • Liaising closely with various internal departments including Production, Paint Shop and Warehouse
  • Raising any Despatch concerns to Team Leader
  • Ensuring the Despatch area is safe and good standards are followed
  • Ensure that all paperwork where required is completed accurately and recorded on NetSuite
  • To report any unsafe act, occurrence, near miss and injury using the platinum stairlifts reporting process
  • To aid in Health, Safety & Environmental investigations, audits and improvement processes

Experience and Skills

  • Good IT skills with Microsoft Office experience. Knowledge with SOPS
  • Strong team work ethic with attention to detail.
  • Good time keeping/attendance
  • FLT License Flexi and/or Counterbalance
  • Experience of WMS or ERP systems
  • Experience in a busy Warehouse or Manufacturing environment
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal,
  • The right person will have good problem solving skills and be able to work unsupervised
  • Team leader experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and a reactive environment
  • Forward thinking and continuous improvement mindset

The Role

We are looking for a Italian speaking sales account manager who will be able to work in a fast paced sales team. You will be required to manage the existing partner portfolio and work closely with the Territory Manager or Sales Manager to maximise the sales opportunities within the assigned territory. Overseeing day-to-day liaison with the Partners to ensure strong relations are built and maintained. Please note it is essential you can speak Italian.

Requirements

  • Responsibility for all account activities in assigned accounts or regions and full customer liaison. This includes but is not limited to: Stairlift orders, parts orders, approvals, survey requests and quotation requests.
  • Responsible for logging all orders accurately on NetSuite and following through order process to completion with full customer liaison where required. This will include checking order feasibility by liaising with different departments and finding solutions where necessary.
  • Following up weekly and monthly order status reports with calls to partners to ensure that orders flow through our sales process smoothly without unnecessary delay for Platinum and the partner.
  • Recording sales activity on the company CRM. Ensuring that new leads and prospects are logged and updating current partner accounts to allow new opportunities to be identified and build market intelligence.
  • Assist the team by providing cover for all territories in periods of absence or as required. Ensuring that the department performance and service to partners is maintained during these periods.
  • Maintain a high level of understanding on performance and market activity within your assigned territory, preparing monthly reports to discuss performance in one-to-one meetings with Sales Management.
  • Translate marketing information where applicable for communication to partners.
  • Providing our Partners with fantastic service, establishing and maintaining excellent client relationships
  • Achieved orders and revenue within assigned territory are in line or exceed company forecast.
  • Partners are serviced and supported in line with company values.

Experience and Skills

  • Experience in Account Management & B2B in a sales Environment
  • Experience within the stairlift industry or manufacturing industry is desirable.
  • Fluent in both English and Italian
  • Positive mindset, interpersonal skills with the ability to network.
  • Developed influencing and negotiation skills, good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
