Roles in our team range from welding and fabrication, CNC machine operation, manufacturing quality, and process improvement, CAD Technicians, Sales, and more.

Backed by North Edge capital, we now employs over 250 people, many of which will be able to take full advantage of local transport links, electric car charging, modern changing and shower facilities, and a shared canteen.

The Role

Due to business growth we are looking to expand the Paint Shop team. You will be required to successfully maintain targets that are set and following procedures. There are 2 shifts available: Early shift - Mon to Thurs: 5.30am to 2.00pm & Fri 5.30am – 11.30am Late shift - Mon to Thurs: 8.00am to 4.30pm & Fri 8.00am – 2.00pm

Requirements

  • Reliable, punctual and flexible
  • Experience working within a production environment
  • Prepared to work within a team
  • Good attitude and work ethic
  • Maintaining hourly target on hour boards

Experience and Skills

  • Paint spraying/powder experience preferred but not essential
  • To ensure all health and safety policies are followed to assure a safe working environment
  • To ensure all processes and quality standards are followed correctly
  • Prepare parts for powder coating which includes shot blasting, degreasing, and masking
  • Loading parts onto overhead line and unloading
  • Ongoing powder coating training/development
  • Quality assessment of finished painted product. Wrapping of powder coated rails ready for despatch
  • No experience necessary for this role as you will be fully trained

Are you a welder looking for a new challenge? You will fabricate and assemble stairlift tracks and tubes from technical drawings using TIG welding and various methods of assembly. Interested submit your CV.

Requirements

  • Must be able to MIG and TIG weld
  • Have experience in working with tube and mild steel
  • Ability to read CAD drawings
  • Work to a standardised method
  • Measure and verify your builds;
  • Experience in using electrical or manual tools
  • Early shift or late shifts
  • Have good experience in fabrication

Experience and Skills

  • Numeracy skills sufficient to enable calculations, accurate measurement, and verification of dimensions
  • Use of grinding, drilling, bending equipment and range of finishing tools as part of their fabrication work experience
  • To comply with the company Health, Safety & Environmental rules, and regulations to ensure Platinum Stairlifts achieve the objectives set out in its policies
  • To report any unsafe act, occurrence, near miss and injury using the platinum stairlifts reporting process

The Role

We are looking to find a new and exciting member to join the Despatch team. You will be working in a small but busy Despatch department to ensure the accurate and safe delivery of goods. There will be lots of manual handling, you need great organisations skills, basic computer skills and attention to detail. You will liaise with different departments and get to meet lots of interesting people. Warehouse experience is desired and preferable however we provide excellent training, so you get the best experience and support throughout your time at Platinum.   • Carry out daily checks on all vehicles to ensure safe to operate Some heavy and constant manual handling activities
  • Liaising closely with various internal departments including Production, Paint Shop, Despatch, Material Planning and Purchasing
  • Raising any Stores concerns to Team Leader
  • Ensuring the Stores area is safe and good standards are followed
  • Ensure that all paperwork where required is completed accurately and recorded on NetSuite

Experience and Skills

  • Good IT skills with Microsoft Office experience
  • Strong team work ethic
  • Good time keeping/attendance
  • FLT License Flexi and/or Counterbalance
  • Experience of WMS or ERP systems
  • Experience in a busy Warehouse or Manufacturing environment
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The right person will have good problem solving skills and be able to work unsupervised
